As a psychotherapist my view of mental health is a holistic approach. I believe all the areas of one’s life; physical, mental, emotional, spiritual; are interconnected and if one area of our life is negatively affected, the ripple effect will be felt in all the other areas of our life. My passion lies in guiding my clients toward recognition of patterns and themes throughout their lives that continue to affect them and assisting clients with correcting thoughts and behaviors that they feel are preventing them from experiencing holistic wellness. I am a firm believer in the idea that a problem does not exist without a solution and my role in the therapeutic relationship is to provide you with a safe space to process and explore all of your experiences and emotions without judgment.

My experience working in correctional and community mental health has gifted me the opportunity to work with a wide range of individuals with different behavioral and mental health challenges. I have enjoyed working with many military Veterans and justice-involved individuals during my career. My main areas of interest include working with adults and adolescents who are navigating serious mental illness, anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Mental Health (LPC-MH) and Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) in South Dakota and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in Minnesota. I offer in-person and telehealth options for therapy sessions.
